Founded in 1753 by John Shenk, a Swiss Mennonite farmer, Shenk's Homestead Sour Mash Whiskey is a tribute to the distillery's rich history. Originally called Bomberger's Distillery in the 1800s, it was later renamed Michter's Distillery in the mid-20th century. Today, we honor this legacy with the release of Bomberger's Declaration and Shenk's Homestead as part of our Michter's Legacy Series.
